Draw a tree on the canvas with a pencil.

Have family members paint in the trunk and leaves.

While the paint is drying, cut pictures of relatives in circles or squares. Cut a piece of colored paper just a little bigger than the picture.

Glue the pictures in the center of the colored paper cutouts; then glue them on the tree. You may wish to label the pictures with names. A thin permanent marker works well if you want to hand-write the names, or print out the names in a fancy font, cut them out, and glue under the pictures.
